The Add Display screen allows you to take ownership of a Display Server from the Content Server. Taking ownership is necessary to tell the Display Server that the content server is responsible for managing it and for providing its bulletins, videos and crawls. You can only add a display server that already has AxisTV software installed on it.

Network (DNS) Name |
Enter the network name or IP address of the Display Server you wish to add to the Content Server. It is preferable to use DNS names rather than addresses. If you are unsure what to you please consult your network administrator for assistance. |

Friendly Name |
This is the name you wish to see from the AxisTV screens. This name will be used when referring to the server. Names are limited to 255 characters. |

If you wish to add the display, click Finished, else click Cancel. If there are any problems contacting or configuring the Display Server they will be recorded in the status and error logs (System | Status and System | Errors). If the add succeeds then you will be returned to the System | Manage Displays screen and the new display will be available in the list for configuration. |
