The Location <> Zone Map screen allows you map Weather Locations to Weather Service Zones. The purpose of this mapping it to tell the National Weather Service adapter which weather locations you want to update automatically. The NWS Adapter will only try to find current and forecast weather conditions for zones mapped in this screen.

You can map or unmap locations defined in the Weather | Locations screen. | |

Weather Service Zones |
When you view a location that is already mapped, the weather service zone will be displayed here. You can choose another zone. When you pick a zone you will be given a link to click to pick the Zone City Name. |

Zone City Name |
Enter the city name for which you wish to pull current conditions. |

Select Yes if you want the NWS Adapter to pull current conditions for the Zone City Name. | |

Select Yes if you want the NWS Adapter to pull forecast weather for the zone. You can preview forecast information by clicking the link provided. | |

Click Map to create a mapping between the weather location the weather service zone. Click Unmap to remove the mapping. |
