The Manage Displays screen allows you to add and configure the Display Servers managed by the Content Server. This is a large screen, broken into sections.

You can pick any of the existing displays to manage. The dropdown list shows the friendly name and the [device-name]. | |

If your licensing currently supports it you can add more displays to the Content Server by clicking Add Display. | |

|
|
|
At any time you can force a full refresh/reapplication of all display settings to the selected display device. You can also use this button to ensure all the latest bulletins and crawls are present on the display. | |

|
At any time you can delete a display from the Content Server. The content server will verify that you wish to really delete the display when you click Delete Display. | |
|
|
|
|
If you wish to boot a display device immediately, you can click Boot Display NOW! | |
|
|
|
|
If you need to shutdown and power off a display server you can click Shutdown Display NOW! | |

Click the plus (+) button to expand any section. | |

If the DNS Name or Network Address of the Display Server has to change for any reason you can change it in the AxisTV software by entering a new DNS Name or Address in the blank and clicking the button. The Content Server will try to verify the DNS Name/Address so you should change the network identification before updating AxisTV. If you have any questions contact your network administrator for assistance. | |

The Display Server description can be changed at any time by entering a new description and clicking the button. | |
